Ceramill® Zolid HT

Pre-stained, super-high translucent zirconia

Zolid HT+ is a highly translucent zirconium oxide which combines high mechanical characteristics with outstanding aesthetics. At over 1000 MPa, its strength lies in the range of the proven Zolid HT zirconium oxide, however, the light-optical properties surpass those of the predecessor considerably. Even large, implant-supported structures with a gingival component radiate the vitality of natural tooth substance due to their high light permeability. Optimised milling processing results in even more delicate margin design, offering exceptional edge stability at the same time. The combination with the Ceramill Liquid "new formula“ staining solutions allows highly aesthetic colour shade results corresponding to the VITA classical shade guide.

Indications

  • Fully anatomical crowns and bridges (max. 3 units extending to the molar region)

  • Anatomically reduced crown and bridge frameworks (max. 3 units extending to the molar region)

  • Veneers, Inlays, Onlays

Advantages

  • Super-high translucent, pre-stained zirconia for the highest demands of efficiency and esthetics

  • High bending strength enables the fabrication of up to 3-unit bridges, including in the molar region

  • Shade and process reliability by pre-stained blanks ensures easy, time-saving processing

Preventive Appliances

CLEARsplint Nightguard

Astron’s proprietary CLEARsplint® material has been highly regarded and trusted by dentists and labs for more than 20 years. There’s no better material for making Nightguards and splints that alleviate pain and prevent further destruction of healthy dentition among bruxing and grinding patients. CLEARsplint nightguards are nearly invisible when worn and self-adjusting for increased patient comfort.

These nightguards are amine and methyl methacrylate-free, so they will never yellow and eliminate allergy problems. Self-adjusting, with superb accuracy for the closest fit, which not only makes for greater patient comfort but reduces postoperative chair time.

CLEARsplint’s dimensional stability means fewer adjustments, and the composite formulation can be press-packed or poured. Repairs can be made using a cold cure acrylic or the original material.

Diagnostic Consultation

Diagnostic Casts & Wax-up

It is important to diagnose available space and occlusion for either the implant-supported single-tooth restoration or a fixed denture. Diagnostic casts and a diagnostic wax-up will enhance the predictability of the treatment.

The diagnostic wax-up is a tool that we use for diagnosis and treatment of single-tooth implants , using wax or denture teeth set in wax. This tool provides important diagnostic information that will indicate whether a specific treatment is appropriate. It also assists in the selection of a proper restoration method and may indicate the need for orthodontic treatment or preprosthetic surgery. The diagnostic casts and wax-up can assist in estimating the amount of restorative space available and point out any need for treatment in the opposing arch to obtain such space. It can help in evaluating the planned occlusal scheme and indicate which modifications are needed in the remaining dentition. Additionally, the diagnostic wax-up is used as means of communication between the clinician, the technician, and the patient.
